Balochistan minister calls on Buzdar

“Trade and industry will be promoted between the two provinces

LAHORE:

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said a proposal of setting up an industrial zone at the border of Balochistan and Punjab was in progress. “Trade and industry will be promoted between the two provinces as the development of Balochistan is dear to me,” said Buzdar on Monday in a meeting with a delegation led by Balochistan Industries Minister Toor Uthmankhail. The Punjab government has also started different projects in Balochistan as a gesture of goodwill. “The provincial government would set up Punjab House in Gwadar along with a centre for pilgrims in Taftan while a technical college, being developed by the Punjab government in Kharaan, will be completed this year,” said the chief minister, adding The Punjab Bank, Rescue 1122, college transport and other facilities were being provided in Musa Khel. He apprised Uthmankhail a cardiac hospital would be set up in Balochistan and another 100-bed hospital would be constructed in Turbat by the Punjab government.
