NAHE launch development webinars
The US Embassy, in collaboration with the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), has launched a series of professional development webinars focused on the assessment of student performance in online higher education degree programmes. Addressing the inaugural webinar, NAHE Rector Professor Shaheen Sardar Ali said that the sessions will help contribute to a smooth transition to online learning, as the higher education institutions in Pakistan develop online degree programmes to cater to the critical need of students for an enabling environment amidst the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. The webinars, she said, responds to the urgent need of the academic community to find ways to make online assessments an effective measure of student performance.
