Kashana ex-official’s home gutted

A fire broke out in Kashana Welfare Quarters on Monday. The fire erupted in the quarters of Afshan Latif, former superintendent of Kashana Welfare. All her belongings in the three rooms of the residence were burnt to ashes. Rescue teams reached the spot on information and extinguished the fire. The victim, Afshan Latif, alleged that her quarters were deliberately set on fire, following the Kashana scandal case and the murder of a girl, Kainat. The authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
