Arrest warrant issued for senator
Additional District Session Judge Quetta issued a non-bailable arrest warrant of former Balochistan home minister and Senator Sarfaraz Bugti on Friday. He was nominated in the abduction of a nine-year-old girl. Judge Munir Agha ordered the police to arrest and produce the senator before the court of law on July 24. Earlier, the Supreme Court rejected an interim bail appeal filed by Bugti. A division bench of the apex court had expressed displeasure over no progress in the case. Sarfaraz Bugti is a sitting senator and belongs to the ruling Balochistan Awami Party.
