UAE-based airline allowed repatriation
The Civil Aviation Authority allowed Air Arabia to operate a special flight to repatriate stranded nationals in Sharjah using Quetta International Airport for landing, according to a notification issued by Air Transport department of CAA. The special flight of the United Arab Emirates airliner will airlift more than 200 Pakistanis from Sharjah to the provincial capital of Balochistn on July 17. Earlier, the airline applied the CAA to grant permission for a special flight. The notification mandated the crew of the private airline to implement government-mandated standard operating procedures for repatriation of passengers. Besides, the crew will not be allowed to disembark from Quetta Airport.
