Police arrest four outlaws

Police says they are investigating the matter further

LAHORE:

Police arrested four lawbreakers from different areas of the provincial capital on Friday. Police officials said two suspects involved in attempt to murder and cheque dishonor cases had been arrested by Model Town division police. Reportedly, the accused Amoon had shot at and injured a 22-year-old man named Usman on exchange of harsh words a few days ago in Nishtar Colony whereas the suspect identified as Masood Rafique had issued a bogus cheque of Rs1 million in Faisal Town and fled from the scene. Officials added that they were investigating the matter further. Meanwhile, a suspect involved in dozens of cases of house theft had been arrested along with an accomplice from Wapda Town on Friday. Reportedly, the accused had been involved in 105 cases of house theft and was wanted by police of six districts including Lahore.
