A citizen accused of threatening K-Electric (KE) workers in Gulistan-e-Johar was arrested on Friday. Ashraf had allegedly gathered area residents and threatened a KE team removing illegal power lines in the area. The police registered a case against him on KE’s behalf, after which he further threatened petitioners over the phone. Though he fled before the police could arrest him earlier, he was later apprehended.
