ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) Mayor Sheikh Anser Aziz on Thursday assured traders from Sector F-10 Markaz that broken roads and footpaths in the key commercial area will be repaired.

He said this during a meeting with traders while breaking ground for public toilets in the Markaz.

“Sector F-10 Markaz is one of the major commercial centres of the federal capital and IMC will soon take measures to address key issues including repair of roads and footpaths,” he assured. Aziz further said that the business community is playing an important role in the development of the economy by promoting business activities. All efforts will be made to solve their IMC-related issues and facilitate them in doing business, he said.

The construction of the public toilet in F-10 Markaz, he said, will solve a long-standing demand of traders.

ICCI’s Tahir Abbasi said the lack of public toilets was causing difficulties for traders. He hoped that its construction will ease their problems.
