Police arrest ‘MQM-L target killer’
Ibrahim Hyderi Police claimed on Tuesday to have arrested a target killer affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London (MQM-L), Zahid Bengali, and confiscated a hand grenade and TT pistol from his possession. According to police, Bengali has been involved killing several citizens and MQM-L’s political opponents. He has been booked in various cases of murder, attempt to murder and robbery, they said, adding that seven of those cases, in which Bengali was declared an absconder, were registered at Ibrahim Hyderi Police Station. Police said that Begali belonged to the target killing team of MQM-L’s Raees Mamma group and had confessed to committing multiple murders during initial interrogation. Bengali was arrested once earlier too, they added.
