Suicide: Boy kills himself after failing exams

Nauman Akram failed his matriculation exams and his parents censured him over his result card.

FAISALABAD:
A matriculation student committed suicide over failing his Secondary School Certificate Exams on Friday.


According to police officials, 17-year-old Nauman Akram failed his matriculation exams and his parents censured him over his result card. Akram and his parents quarrelled over the issue. On Friday morning, Akram shot himself in the head with his father’s pistol. Police officials have conducted a preliminary investigation and handed over the boy’s body to his parents for burial.
