Durrani laid to rest in Mastung

Pakistan Peoples Party and former federal minister Dr Ayatullah Durrani was laid to rest in his native town Paringabad, Mastung on Monday. Durrani passed away on Sunday. The deceased was ill and shifted to Fatima Jinnah Chest and General Hospital where he was under treatment, according to family sources. Besides, the hospital sources confirmed Durrani was not suffering from coronavirus. The PPP stalwart served at various political positions. He remained Balochistan general secretary and worked as Minister of state and industries production after electing as an MNA in 2008 general election on PPP ticket. Durrani also served as advisor to the late prime minister Benazir Bhutto for Balochistan Affairs during 1989 to 1990. PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and former president Asif Ali Zardari expressed grief over demise of Durrani.
