K-P to revive public safety commission

The government has decided to revive public safety commissions in the province. For this purpose, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister (CM) has been approached to create a committee which will then select members of the commission. K-P Law Minister Sultan Khan on Monday said that the K-P Police Act is being implemented in the province, adding that they have approached the court against the decision on the selection of members. If required, the government will draft the necessary legislation on the subject as well.
