‘Arazi centres to be made functional’

Decision will be made in the light of committee recommendations

LAHORE:

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar ordered the making of ‘Mobile Arazi Centres’ functional at the earliest. He issued the directive while chairing a meeting at his office to discuss reforms in Board of Revenue (BoR) on Monday. Punjab Chief Secretary Jawwad Rafique Malik was present on the occasion. The CM stated that important reforms would be introduced to settle revenue matters and a composite system would be devised to facilitate citizens. He directed the constituting of a committee for introducing departmental reforms under Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat. “This committee would submit its recommendations within seven days and decisions would be made in the light of the committee recommendations.”
