Balochistan CM takes notice of protests against border closure

Federal, provincial govts will take decision in national interest, says Jam Kamal Khan

Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has taken notice of the continuous protests against the closure of the Pak-Afghan border by the people of Chaman, saying said that he will soon take up the issue with Prime Minister Imran Khan as its closure was the federal government’s decision.

“The federal and provincial departments will take the decision in national interest,” the chief minister said while addressing a high-level meeting to discuss the closure of Pak-Afghan border.

The meeting thoroughly reviewed the Pak-Afghan transit trade, law and order situation, measures adopted to curb smuggling, daily wagers package and issues related to Covid-19 in the country.
