‘Robbers’ kill retired intelligence officer

FAISALABAD:

A retired intelligence officer was killed by alleged robbers on Friday. Police officials said that Akram, a retired employee of the intelligence agency and a resident of Chak No 144BB, Landianwala was sleeping in his house with his family when a five-member gang of robbers entered the house. The robbers shot him dead and fled away. Upon receiving the report, ASP Bilal Silhari, SHO Landianwala Manazir Luck along with contingent reached the spot. The body was shifted to the hospital for postmortem.
