K-P conducts over 145k virus tests

Number of Covid-19 beds at LRH to be increased to 500

PESHAWAR:

The provincial government has so far conducted 145,958 tests for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) with daily testing capacity set to be enhanced to 10,000 by the end of July. This was disclosed by the Adviser to the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister on Information Ajmal Wazir during a media briefing at the information cell in the Civil Secretariat in Peshawar on Wednesday. The adviser said the number of beds reserved for Covid-19 patients in Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) will be enhanced to 500.
