Safety awareness workshop held

Rescue 1122 conducted a safety awareness workshop for sewerage workers on Wednesday. The purpose of the workshop for sewerage workers was ensuring their safety by training them about protective measures before entering a sewerage manhole and afterwards, said Rescue 1122 District Emergency Officer (DEO) Dr Ijaz Anjum. The rescuers presented practical display of how to provide quick first aid to those affected during work in sewerage lines. Local Government Deputy Director Muhammad Zaman Wattoo, Rescue 1122 Safety Officer Muhammad Nadeem, Rescue 1122 instructor Bashir Ahmed, rescuers and sewerage workers from across the district attended the workshop.
