CIA police nab fake health officer in Lahore
Lahore CIA police claimed on Monday to have arrested a fake health officer, identified as Javed alias Jida, accused of embezzling millions of rupees by preparing fake Covid-19 test reports of factory workers.
In light of the instructions of Lahore Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Zulfiqar Hameed, a team led by Lahore CIA SP Asim Iftikhar along with Model Town CIA DSP Syed Hasnain Haider and other officers arrested the man impersonating a health officer.
The suspect reportedly earned millions of rupees by duping factory owners under the guise of preparing Covid-19 test reports with the help of modern technology and issuing fake certificates of recovery from the disease.
The accused allegedly used to extort money from factory owners.
