Cricket: PCB disqualifies KCCA’s Faruqi

He reportedly had taken an undertaking to adhere to by releasing press statements criticising the PCB.

Karachi City Cricket Association secretary Ejaz Ahmed Faruqi has been relieved of his duties following a disciplinary process by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He was found to have breached a code of conduct that he reportedly had taken an undertaking to adhere to by releasing press statements criticising the PCB and its functioning on multiple occasions.  He was then issued a show-cause notice to which he never responded, undergoing a hearing to defend himself. According to the PCB Constitution though, Faruqi still has the option to appeal the decision.
