‘Govt committed to ending drug addiction’
Minister lauds Narcotics Control Department, social organisations
LAHORE:
Punjab Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs (HR&MA) Ejaz Alam Augustine has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is committed to eliminating drug addiction from the society.
In his message issued on the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on Thursday, he said that the day reminds us to protect our citizens from narcotics addiction. He also appreciated the Narcotics Control Department of Punjab and social organisations, which are involved in saving the youth from these addictions. Ijaz Alam Augustine said that saving the youth from drug-abuse is a collective responsibility of the nation.
