One civilian injured as India violates ceasefire along LoC
Pakistan Army responded effectively to Indian unprovoked firing, says ISPR
Indian troops resorted to unprovoked fire at civilian population along the Line of Control (LoC), leaving a woman critically injured, said the military's media wing on Thursday.
"Indian Army Troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation in Karela Sector along LOC targeting civil population. Due to indiscriminate fire of Indian troops in Batla Mathrani village, an innocent woman sustained serious injuries," the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a tweet.

On June 21, one civilian was martyred and two others sustained injured as Indian forces initiated a truce violation in Hajipur and Bedori sectors along LoC.
This year, India has committed over 1,400 ceasefire violations along de facto border between the two nuclear armed states, leaving at least 12 dead and over 100 civilians injured.
Indian ceasefire violations have witnessed a surge since August 5 last year when New Delhi abrogated the special status of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ&K).
