Pakistani TV actor Ushna Shah has a unique knack for saying things that have the potential to stir up social media.

Not missing a beat over the weekend, the Balaa actor took to Twitter to share that she would like to Pakistan's version of Kangana Ranaut - but solely based on acting chops, as her tweet implies.

The said statement was a reply to a user on one of her tweets that asked whether "Ertugrul was this huge of a hit in Turkey and other countries or just Pakistan?"

One Twitter user stated in the replies, "Ushna I think you will be the future Kangana Ranaut of Pakistan," to which she replied, "I wish! She’s a brilliant actress."

Now, while Ushna's tweet was obviously a smart take on a comment whose intent otherwise seemed to be to humiliate, people had a lot to say on her reply as well.

One user replied how the original poster was "talking about her personality," while yet another pointed out: "But i think he didn’t say it in that way."

Others reminded her of how problematic Kangana can be and has been in the past. "She’s a Hindu nationalist who hates Muslims!" wrote one user. Another said, "Brilliant actress but a very problematic personality."

Not all the responses to her tweet were such though - some also reminded Ushna that she need not compare herself to others. "You are Ushna. We don’t need anyone else to be compared with our artist. You have your own identity," said one user in the replies.

"Please wake up girl, you are Ushna and that's way better than being anyone else," read another.

What do you think of Ushna's response?
