Pirwadhai police on Monday arrested two alleged street criminals and recovered eight stolen and snatched mobile phones, cash and other items from them.
Pirwadhai police conducted a raid in their jurisdiction and arrested Abdul Khaliq and Muhammad Shoukat, allegedly involved in street crimes. During interrogation, the accused confessed to have committed several street crimes in different areas.
Police have registered a case while further investigation is underway, he added. Separately, 3.5 Ratta Amral police arrested Saad Akhtar for possessing 1.2 kilogrammes of hashish, while Airport police netted Ahsan Javed and seized 1.26 kilogrammes of hashish and RA Bazaar police caught Waqar Ahmed with 1.1 kilogrammes of hashish.
