The Indians will return through the Wagah border in three phases starting from June 25.
Earlier, the Indian embassy had instructed them to be ready to cross the Wagah border on June 23, but the schedule changed. According to a letter sent by the home ministry to Pakistan Rangers Punjab, 748 Indian nationals residing in Pakistan would return through the Wagah border in three phases due to coronavirus.
A list of these Indian nationals has also been provided to the concerned authorities. According to the letter, the first group of 250 Indian nationals will return on June 25.

Similarly, another 250 Indians will return on June 26 and the third group of 248 Indians will return on June 27. The Wagah border will be opened from June 25 to 27 for the return of the Indian nationals.
Customs and immigration officials have also been notified. The staffnof these departments will reach Wagah border especially on these three days. Indian nationals returning from Pakistan will be kept in quarantine for 14 days.
The citizens of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh will be kept in quarantine in their respective states.
On the other hand, there is no schedule for the return of Pakistani nationals stranded in India. So far, more than 250 Pakistani nationals have returned from India.
