Two alleged drug peddlers arrested

Separate cases had been registered against the drug peddlers with the police stations concerned

MULTAN:
Police claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers and seized drugs from their possession during a crackdown launched at different areas of the city on Friday.

In line with special directives of City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Hassan Raza Khan, police launched a crackdown against drug peddlers and arrested two notorious drug peddlers named Qamarul Zaman and Umair Atique.


The drug peddlers had been arrested respectively by Makhdoom Rasheed and Budhla Sanat police. Police had also seized 1.4 kg of hashish and 60 litres of locally produced wine from their possession.

Separate cases had been registered against the drug peddlers with the police stations concerned.
