Peshawar district administration bans sale of the steroid drug dexamethasone without a doctor’s prescription

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar district administration on Thursday banned sale of the steroid drug dexamethasone without a doctor’s prescription.

The district administration issued these directives to ensure availability of the vital life-saving drug across the provincial capital.

A statement issued in this regard said the decision was aimed at averting possible hoarding of the drug because hoarders would try to stockpile it.
