Chahan Dam spillways will be completed in the upcoming financial year, officials told Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Tariq Mehmood Murtaza on Wednesday.
Murtaza was on the site of Chahan Dam with RDA Director General Ammara Khan and Wasa Managing Director Raja Shoukat Mahmood.
Small Dam Organisation Executive Engineer (Exen) Umair Ahmed briefed the chairman about the project and informed that the construction work of the spillway would be completed in 2020-21 as the provincial government had released funds for construction of the spillway and other development work of the project.
