Vasay Chaudhry recovers after testing positive for coronavirus
The actor had announced on June 8 that he had tested positive for the virus
Vasay Chaudhry has tested negative for coronavirus after announcing that he was Covid-19 positive on June 8.
The Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actor and writer took to Twitter to share the news of his recovery on Twitter. "Alhamdolillah, I have tested negative for Covid-19. A big thank you to everyone for all the messages, prayers and wishes," he wrote.
Earlier, on June 8, he had announced, also on Twitter, of his diagnosis. "I have tested Positive for Covid-19 and self quarantining," he had posted.
He had also shared that his family had thankfully tested negative for the virus. “I have already notified people I have come in contact with recently to get themselves tested and self-isolate, if need be."
Other than writing and appearing in films, Vasay is also a stalwart on Pakistani TV as the host of popular show Mazaaq Raat.
