The government has decided to delay the annual property tax survey till next year due to coronavirus outbreak.
The new tax survey to increase taxes on all types of residential, commercial properties across Punjab and a domestic to commercial property survey will now be conducted in April, May 2021 next year.
The survey is completed before June 30 each year.
However, this year the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, on special instructions from the government, postponed the new tax survey for next year, giving special discounts to all property owners due to coronavirus pandemic and lockdown issues.
