Four women shot dead over property dispute

Accused barges into his late brother’s house and opens indiscriminate fire

Four women were killed by their uncle over a dispute of inheritance in Naran Shumalian village in the outskirts of Khushab.

Accused Mohammed Amir, along with his accomplices, barged into his deceased brother Sher Muhammad Saidukhel’s house and opened indiscriminate fire on the victims, killing Bushara Bibi, 28, Shazia Bibi, 26, Sultana Bibi, 24, and Nasreen Bibi, 18 on the spot.

The sources revealed that the four deceased victims were sisters and were alone in the house with no male, while their parents also died.

The fifth sister survived because she was not present in the house at that time.


Khushab PO Rana Shoaib Mehmood and local police arrived at the scene as soon as they were informed about the incident.

Reports also revealed that the mother of the deceased girls had died a few days ago.

Accused Amir went to his brother’s house where there was a dispute took place between him and the women over the inheritance.

Amir wanted to marry off one of his sons to his nieces, sources said.
