Sushant Singh Rajput's last film will be released online

Sushant Singh Rajput's Dil Bechara which is an Indian remake of the famous Hollywood film The Fault In Our Stars will release online soon, reported FilmFare. The film will release on Indian OTT service Hotstar, however, it is yet to be known when.

Directed by Mukesh Chhabra, the film was earlier on slated for a theatrical release for May 8. However plans were nixed as the Covid019 pandemic took flight across the world.

Dil Bechara that also stars Sanjana Sanghi opposite Sushant, is Mukesh's directorial debut. Mukesh and Sushant were said to be close wherein the two treated each other as brothers.

Sushant's last theatrical release was Chhichore which released last year and it even made it to the 100 crore club. He also starred in Drive opposite Jacqueline Fernandez that was released directly on Netflix.

The Kai Po Che! star passed away on Sunday at his house in Bandra with Police officially ruling it as a suicide. Sushant's sudden death came right after his ex-manager Disha Salian had also committed suicide after jumping from the 14th floor of her apartment in Mumbai.
