Heatwave to hit Karachi from today
The temperature would drop to normal by Wednesday, according to Met office

A heatwave spell begin in Karachi today (Monday), with the temperature shooting up to 40 degrees Celsius over the coming two days, the Met office forecast on Sunday.
According to chief meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz, the heatwave is a result of low atmospheric pressure in Arabian Sea near Indian Gujrat.
The temperature would drop to normal by Wednesday, he added.
According to the Met office, the highest temperature was recorded at 38.2 degrees Celsius and the lowest at 29.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
