Balochistan reported 162 new coronavirus cases on Saturday, taking the total tally of the infected people to 8,082. So far 83 people in Balochistan have died of the contagious disease.
98 per cent of the total positive cases in the province are locally transmitted and the active cases are 5,150, according to the daily situation report issued by the Balochistan Health Directorate.
The locally transmitted cases in Balochistan are 7,880, including 6,399 in Quetta, 199 in Jaffarabad, 147 in Qilla Abdullah, 141 in Mastung, 140 in Pishin, 140 in Khuzdar, 96 in Loralai, 79 in Lasbela, 62 in Chagai, 62 in Kech, 59 in Sibi, 41 in Kalat, 32 in Naushki, 29 in Panjgur, 22 in Jhal Magsi, 22 in Zhob, 18 in Harnai, 18 in Sohbatpur, 13 in Gwadar and 11 in Ziarat.
