Police on Friday arrested the accused who shot dead two women in Swabi, a city in Khyber Pakhtunkwa (K-P), to settle his score over a petty dispute of delayed payment.

According to an official statement issued on Friday, Chota Lahore police, upon receiving information, rushed to the site of incident and found the bodies inside their home.

SHO Shafique Ahmed along with his team shifted the bodies to the hospital for autopsy and sealed the crime scene to collect the forensic evidence.


Subsequently, taking notice of the incident, DPO Swabi Imran Shahid constituted the investigation team led by SP Investigation Swabi Banaras Khan Taj Muhammad Khan.

The plaintiff, Moin Khan, who is a resident of Jalsai Mohallah told the police that his neighbour, Miraman is suspected of killing his family members as he had a verbal spat with him over the issue of late payment.

Moin in his application stated that Miraman, a resident of same neighbourhood worked for him in Islamabad as a labourer and they had engaged in altercation over the payment of Rs4,000.

The accused confessed to the police that he had killed the mother and daughter out of resentment as he had to face immense difficulties due to the non-payment of his wage.
