Edu minister promises merit in K-P hirings

PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Minister for Education Akbar Ayub Khan on Thursday stressed that officers appointed in the education department will be based on performance, adding that the outstanding execution of duties will result in their promotions and postings.

He said this while talking to a delegation from the School Officers Association, led by MPA Nazir Abbasi in Peshawar.

The provincial education minister was briefed about the services of teaching cadre and management cadre officers in the Education Department and the difficulties being faced by them.

Ayub appreciated their struggle for education and assured to take the issues with CM Mahmood Khan.
