CGSS, IUB to cooperate in research
MoU signed to promote joint projects in agreed fields
BAHAWALPUR:
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Centre for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) and Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) on Thursday.
CGSS Vice-President Major General (retd) Hafiz Masroor Ahmed and Senior Member Advisory Board Brigadier (retd) Abdullah Khan visited the IUB.
They met IUB Vice-Chancellor Dr Athar Mahboob, senior heads of departments and faculty members.
Under the MoU, both the institutions agreed to facilitate cooperation in academic research.
It was decided that the CGSS and IUB will work together to promote joint research projects in agreed fields for developing sound cooperation in the future.
Furthermore, both the institutions will work on and explore opportunities to involve the academia in multilateral fields.
It was decided that the CGSS will link the IUB with various international universities and will also initiate student exchange programmes.
The CGSS vice-president and IUB vice-chancellor signed the MoU on behalf of their institutions.
