Celebrity Thrashing: Petitioner referred to civil court
Attendant had not been paid his salary for over three months
LAHORE:
An additional district and session judge on Wednesday dismissed a petition against actress Veena Malik, directing the petitioner to move a civil court.
The petitioner, Muhamamd Mushtaq had filed a petition in the sessions court saying that he had worked as Veena Malik’s attendant. He said that he had not been paid his salary for over three months and when he went to the actress’s house, he and his wife were manhandled and thrown out. He asked the court to order the registering of an FIR against Malik. The judge, Rana Zahid remarked that the matter fell in the jurisdiction of civil courts.
