Food Prices: ICT ensures supply of fruit

Around 10,000 crates of apples and three trucks of grapes have been brought to the city markets.

Around 10,000 crates of apples and three trucks of grapes have been brought to the city markets to stabilize fruit prices and keeping them within reach, Islamabad Capital Territory Deputy Commissioner Amir Ali Ahmed on Wednesday said after negotiations with the Fruit and Vegetables Market Association Islamabad. He expressed hope that fruit prices would come down with increased supply of apples and grapes in the markets. He also visited the fruit and vegetables market and asked traders to increase the supply of fruits and vegetables to the city in order to meet the increased demands of consumers.
