KARACHI:
Raising objections to the Sindh Assembly not holding a session before the annual budget is announced, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan MPA Muhammad Hussain Khan has written to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Assembly speaker Agha Siraj Durrani

He stressed that Rule 143 of Rules of Procedure of the Sindh Assembly necessitated that a session be arranged before the budget's announcement, adding that calling a session was vital as it would ensure the involvement of all MPAs in devising the budget. "They [MPAs} are not just to be consulted on the budget, but also be given the chance to give suggestions," he stated.
