The provincial secretaries of Primary and Secondary Healthcare and Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education Departments have been warned of poor coronavirus testing performance in three regions, including Multan.
Sources revealed that an intelligence authority had warned in a letter that the performance of coronavirus testing laboratories in Multan, Faisalabad and Rawalpindi was inefficient.
The testing laboratory in Multan takes four to five days to release the report for passengers from abroad.
The testing capacity of the laboratory is only 200 tests per day.
The testing capacity of the laboratories in Faisalabad and Rawalpindi is also low.
