Talking to media persons at Lahore High Court, he said the judiciary would play its role and a plea seeking bail for Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif would be taken up on Wednesday.
He showed his full confidence in the judiciary.
Sana said the government led by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had failed to steer the country out from the current imbroglio.
He said Shehbaz had worked with dedication and rendered served the nation to put the country on the right track. He said the former chief minister of Punjab had worked on mega projects and spent large amounts on them to change the fate of the poor people.
Sana claimed that Shehbaz had also helped through efforts to end loadshedding of electricity that had earlier made the life of the people miserable.
He said the opposition leader was being implicated in false cases.
He said all efforts were made to humiliate the PML-N leadership by implicating it in corruption cases but no allegation of corruption against them had been proven.
He also said that the people were not taking seriously those who were involved in propaganda against the opposition.
At the same time, those involved in granting subsidy of Rs29 billion were being protected, he alleged. He alleged that Prime Minster Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had facilitated those involved in sugar and floor crises.
The former minister said the PML-N was not afraid of arrests. Made clear that they are not afraid of arrests and would continue to play its political role.
