The International Islamic University (IIU) will commence online classes from Monday, June 1 to avoid loss of studies to students during the closure of campuses to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
Online classes for left over spring 2020 semester would be based on synchronous and asynchronous mode so that students can benefit in offline mode also, said a statement issued by the university on Saturday.

IIUI Vice President Academics Dr Tahir Khalily said online teaching policy is aimed to help students complete their semester and avoid loss of time.
He added that online teaching policy has been designed to facilitate students through synchronous and asynchronous mode so that they may benefit in offline mode also.
