Woman dies of Covid-19 in Attock

A 60-year-old woman reportedly died of coronavirus in the Sahkkardarra village. According to district administration officials she was under treatment for Covid-19.

A team of Rescue 1122 performed funeral prayers and the burial as per the protocol and safety procedures devised by the health authorities.


Officials of district administration, police, health department and Pakistan Army soldiers were present at the funeral. Dr Asif Niazi, District Control Room for Corona Virus in charge said that 31 new Covid-19 positive cases have been reported in Attock district in the past 24 hours.

He said that there were 131 coronavirus patients in the district out of which four have died, eight were in critical condition, 54 have recovered, and 65 were in quarantine.
