Cycling: Cavendish decides team
Cavendish denied that his decision was a financial one.
LONDON:
Mark Cavendish has decided which team he will be with in 2012 but is refusing to reveal their identity. Cavendish’s contract with HTC-Highroad, with whom he won the green jersey at the Tour de France, expires at the end of the year. Cavendish denied that his decision was a financial one, saying that he would ‘get the same money whichever team I go to’. “I want to go to the best place to help me win,” he explained. “That might be the same place I am at now.”
