Another lab starts Covid-19 tests
Government works to ramp up it's testing to 5,000 test per day
ABBOTTABAD:
The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Health Care Commission has authorised a testing laboratory at the Shaheena Jamil Hospital of the Frontier Medical College in Abbottabad to start tests for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).
According to a notification issued by the K-P Healthcare Commission Licensing and Registration Director Suleman Jalal, the Shaheena Jamil Hospital has been authorised as a laboratory to test for Covid-19 with bio-safety level 2.
Covid-19 takes its toll on Punjab police
Hazara Commissioner Syed Zaheerul Islam told the media that this step will increase the testing capacity for Covid-19 in the province to 2,000 tests per day as the government works to ramp up it's testing to 5,000 test per day.
