‘Authorities monitoring Covid-19 patients care’
Punjab Health Minister undertakes complete review of the treatment

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has said that the facilities and services extended to coronavirus patients are being monitored from the Central Control Room to ensure provision of best health facilities to them.
She expressed these views while chairing a meeting to review the emergency plan for Covid-19 patients, Eid duty roster and other key affairs at the committee room of the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department on Friday. The minister requested people to take necessary precautions during Eid festivities at home, outside home or when going off to meet relatives.
Yasmin undertook complete review of the treatment as well as other facilities for coronavirus patients in Punjab and also assessed the duty roster for health practitioners during Eidul Fitr.
The secretaries of concerned departments briefed the health minister about contingency plans developed by their respective departments.
The minister also directed the officials to make sure that all doctors perform duties as assigned in the duty roster during Eid holidays.
Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department Secretary Barrister Nabeel Awan, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department Secretary Captain (Retd) Usman Younis, SHME Additional Secretary Dr Asif Tufail, Rescue DG Dr Rizwan Naseer and representatives of different institutions were present in the meeting.
