Aab-e-Pak Authority initiates recruitment
Governor says goal to provide clean drinking water to people would be fulfilled at all costs

In order to provide clean drinking water to citizens across the province, the Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority (PAPA) has decided to initiate recruitment process for consultants and staff from next month.
In a PAPA board meeting held at Governor’s House on Wednesday, the permission was granted to go ahead with the PC-1 of the project and several administrative matters. Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, who is also Patron-in-Chief of the authority, chaired the meeting which constituted a three-member Human Resource Committee under the leadership of PAPA Chairman Nawaz Saleem Mela, which will initiate the recruitment process.
The meeting was attended by PAPA Chairman Nawaz Saleem Mela, Secretary to Governor Dr Rashid Mansoor, Board Member Gohar Ijaz, Senior Member Board of Revenue Babar Hayat Tarar and officials of the planning and development, public health, housing and local government departments.
Following the board meeting, Sarwar told The Express Tribune that his goal to provide clean and safe drinking water to the people of Punjab would be fulfilled at all costs. “The authority will ensure complete transparency in recruitment, procurement and all other affairs.”
