Rs221m given to 17,000 families in Mansehra

As much as Rs221 million has been distributed amongst 1,700 families under the Ehsas Emergency Cash Programme (EECP) in the Oghi and Darband Tehsils of Mansehra district so far.
Dadek Committee chairman and Member Provincial Assembly Nawabzada Fareed told the media on Sunday that some 22,000 families in both tehsils of Mansehra are registered under EECP and so far, around Rs210.65 million have been disbursed amongst 17,712 families of the region.
The MPA stated that due to the spread of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), economic activities have been badly affected around the globe, and the government has initiated EECP to facilitate the masses.
