Azeri diaspora act as ‘cultural ambassadors’
Helping bridge gaps between Azerbaijan with their host communities

Azerbaijanis living across the world act as cultural ambassadors of their country, helping bridge gaps between Azerbaijan with their host communities.
This was stated by experts during an online seminar organised by the Centre for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS) on the “Working of Azerbaijan's State Committee of Diaspora and How Azerbaijan Diaspora is contributing in Nation Building”. The seminar was held in collaboration with the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of Azerbaijan.
The State Committee’s Head of Cooperation Vugar Mammadov stated that Azerbaijan leaders have focused on strengthening relations between the republic and Azerbaijanis all over the world, and to unite the Azerbaijani diaspora. CGSS Member Board of Experts and Expert on Eurasian affairs Dr Mehmoodul Hassan said that the Azerbaijan diaspora acts as cultural ambassadors and linking bridges, thereby sowing the seeds of trust, co-existence and cooperation.
