Attock undertaking anti-dengue efforts

Arrangements of precautionary and curative measures for the viral fever discussed

ATTOCK: Officials of health and other departments in Attock have been directed to accelerate their efforts in searching for and removing dengue larvae from the district and to raise awareness about the viral dengue fever amongst residents.

This was directed by the Attock Deputy Commissioner Anan Qamer on Wednesday while presiding over a district anti-dengue meeting.

Attock District Health Authority CEO Dr Sohail Iajz Awan, Public Relations Deputy Director Shehzad Khokhar, officers and representatives of all relevant departments were also present in the meeting.

Qamer reviewed precautionary measures adopted against dengue. The meeting discussed arrangements of precautionary and curative measures for the viral fever.
